But first things first: how do we get there? Now I am a fan of issues. And as our current theme is to explore wildlife, I say we are going to take a Jaguar to take us to a grand opening. Even so, in that radiant Jaguar car, we set out for the great open sea. Enter the Shark Reef Aquarium in Mandalay Bay. In this deep blue world of Shark Reef, we find some of the fascinating creatures of the Earth are the only aquarium and predator exhibit in North America. Sharks of all kinds, giant rays, sawfish, endangered green turtles, piranhas, moon jellies and rare golden crocodiles, coexist with more than 2,000 animals in a 1.6 million liter aquarium. Of tough guys, we become cute. Who doesn't love dolphins? These natural artists are born to please any crowd.
So, we visited being a coach for the day at The Mirage. Mirage has just launched its new programs, which offer all its guests the opportunity to meet dolphins in the Secret Garden of Siegfried & Roy and in the Dolphin Habitat. Here, guests will work alongside animal specialists while interacting with a family of Atlantic dolphins. Participants will also learn about dolphin behavior and health, as well as dolphin habitat research projects, as they help Atlantic dolphins survive in the wild. So now see that getting in touch with nature is not as difficult as it seems. Nor is it limited to a view of the chest tube.
